Amani wasn’t always on this path, however. When first attending college, she started out as a biology student who wanted to become an OB/GYN... that was until she realized that chemistry and physics weren’t as much her forte as numbers and balances . Switching majors to business management, Amani had a Principles of Accounting professor (Dr. Symon Manyara) at Bowie State University in Bowie, MD, who urged her to switch her major to Accounting. It was then, that Amani began to excel both academically and recreationally.

“Success as being achieved when one has a self understanding of their strengths and abilities, a deep desire and courage to be of service against all odds to reach potentials that were once unimaginable"

While in college, she became the President of the Bowie State University student chapter for the National Association of Black Accountants and was their scholarship recipient along with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and Alp ha Chi Honor Society for over $10,000 combined. Amani also began to tutor other students in math and accounting, which is when she realized that she loved educating others on the importance of numbers and finances. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B. S. in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting, earning a 4.0 in her major and an overall GPA of 3.93. She holds a Master’s of Science in Taxation (MST) from Kogod Business School at American University in Washington, D.C. Amani is currentl pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration majoring in Strategy and Innovation at University of the Southwest.Today, Amani still holds true to the practice of educating people on their finances and her clients attest to appreciating her genuine con cern and understanding for their business and tax situations.

With high ratings across the board, Amani’s firm is top notch in serving clients from all walks of life. She is a licensed CPA in Maryland and Virginia, and is also an appointed member of the IRS Small Business/ Self Employed (SB/SE) Committee since 2010. In addition to AGA Group, she has founded I Am Worth, Inc., which is a personal development company centered on social economy, spirituality, wealth building, and self awareness.Amani is most influenced by her mom, who began buying properties in her native country of Egypt prior to moving to the states. Her parents are both native to Egypt and came to America in the 1970s. The eldest of three daughters, Amani always had the power of hard work instilled in her from a young age, which she brings to her practice today. Amani also recognizes that her professors at Bowie State University did so much to help her with where she is in her career today. Most of all, she is inspired daily by her clients and her family, who all help her have a constant perspective on what matters most.

The author of three books including “The Beginner’s Guide to Abundant Living”, “The 3 D's To Life: A Simple To Unlocking Your True Power”, and “God Loves Salespeople: An Inspirational Book on How To Get What You Want In Life”, Amani stops at nothing to accomplish her goals, which is the same mindset she carries into working with her clients and achieving their fullest potential for their finances and business. Amani’s exp erience includes being personally mentored by Bob Poctor (the number one prosperity leader), Neale Donald Walsch (author of “Conversations with God”), and Marc Allen (CEO of New World Publishing who has published works from Deepak Chopra and Eckhart Tolle).

Amani loves traveling; she has been fortunate enough to travel to her parents homeland of Egypt and other places such as Instanbul , Turkey, Burkina, Faso, Ghana, Canada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico - she is also fluent in Arabic.

She enjoys speaking at events, reading about and studying self - awareness, exploring spirituality and learning more about the practices of wealth building and money (to back her foundation, I Am Worthy, Inc.). Amani is a true kid at heart-whenever she can spend time with the little ones in her family, you can catch her playing board games with them such as Battleship, Guess Who,Hungry Hungry Hippo, and Connect Four. She serves on the board as Treasurer for a local non - profit organization and loves giving back to her community; especially for organizations that emphasize financial literacy. Her friends describe her as smart, successful, humble & easy - going.

With as much pride for her business as the work she does, Amani is confident that each and every one of her clients will feel important and cared for. In addition to just doing the services requested, Amani does her best to educate her clients on the “why’s” and “what” of what is happening so they feel a part of the overall process.
